GRACE School
GRACE School is a therapeutic, relationship-centered educational program designed to support secondary students with significant social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Operated by the Alameda County Office of Education, GRACE provides a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students can develop the academic, behavioral, and life skills necessary for long-term success.
Our interdisciplinary team collaborates to address the whole child through individualized educational programming, mental health supports, counseling services, behavioral interventions, and family engagement. Students receive student-centered academic supports while participating in opportunities that foster self-awareness, resilience, self-advocacy, and positive relationships.
GRACE is committed to creating a trauma-responsive and inclusive environment that recognizes students' strengths and potential. Through personalized supports, career exploration, social-emotional learning, and transition planning, students are empowered to build confidence and work towards their next steps in a supported and successful future.

Program Highlights
Therapeutic & Mental Health Supports
Students have access to integrated counseling services, social-emotional learning, crisis response support, behavioral interventions, and individualized strategies designed to promote emotional wellness and school success.
Personalized Academic Programming
Instruction is tailored to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), ensuring access to rigorous academics, accommodations, modifications, and meaningful progress toward graduation and postsecondary goals.
We engage in Project Based Learning that is meaningful to our students, has a positive impact on the community, and intentionally designed to promote healing and well being as students learn grade level standards.
Transition & Future Readiness
Students engage in career exploration, work-readiness experiences, community-based learning opportunities, and transition planning that prepare them for education, employment, and independent living.
