The Green Career Guidance Initiative provides counseling resources, professional development, and a community of practice to support guidance staff in the complex process of helping students join the skilled trades. 

If you are a contractor or other organization that has entry level position vacancies or are interested in hiring a part time employee please reach out to us at gcgi@acoe.org. Your information will be distributed via Alameda County Office of Education to individual school sites with interested candidates. 

We are particularly interested in partnering with companies who are invested in mentoring the next generation of skilled workers, but recognize every role as a valuable part of the process of improving skills, learning about the industry, and gaining experience.
